
Dr. Daniel Conway is a board-certified general surgeon with twenty years of experience
in both the study and practice of general surgery. He received his medical degree
from Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine and he completed his surgical
residency at Loyola University Medical Center where he received the Kaiser Award
as Top Senior Resident in his program.
Dr. Conway has been practicing general surgery in the northwest suburbs since 1990
and has held numerous leadership roles at area hospitals. At Alexian Brothers Medical
Center, Dr. Conway served as Chairman of both the Surgical Audit and Nutritional
Support Committees as well as Vice President of the Medical Staff. At Northwest
Community Hospital, he has served as Chairman of the Surgical Quality Assurance
Committee as well as Chief of General Surgery.
He is an active member of the American College of Surgeons and the Chicago Surgical
Society and serves on the Committee on Applicants for both organizations. He teaches
Advanced Trauma and Life Support for the American College of Surgeons. A frequent
lecturer on cancer prevention and early detection, Dr. Conway is the 2008-2009 President
of the Regional Board of the American Cancer Society. In his community, Dr. Conway
has coached Barrington Youth Football and served on the board of the Buehler YMCA
Guides program.
